Denise Reyna-Jeldes (she/they)

Biography

Denise is a DPhil student currently working in a project focused in the use of PRMT5 inhibitors as an immunosensitizing strategy against pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

She completed her Bachelor in Chemistry and Pharmacy, and a subsequent Master in Bioactivity of Natural and Synthetic Compounds in the University of Valparaíso, Chile. During those years, her work was mostly oriented to describe the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind the anticancer activity.

As side activities, Denise loves to sing, write poetry, and enjoy good conversations over homemade coffee—especially if that conversation involves cats!
